​What a great job Alex did. He came in right at estimate and the job was done in 2 days.If I ever need this kind of work again Lee Light Excavating will be my first call. 5 Stars all around.

​Alex is great. He came out, listened to my ideas for water mitigation (it was flowing into my garage), and then came up with the best solution. It is easy to get ignored, patronized to or otherwise ripped off when you are a woman alone maintaining a home. Alex did none of this. He was up and up and did precisely what he said he would do. Said he would contact me the next day, did it. Said he would finish the job in a few hours, did it. I will definitely contact him for more work when the time comes. The dry well itself remains to be tested by Mother Nature, but I cannot imagine it doing anything other than what it is meant to do. Alex also made sure the site was clean and tidied everything up when done. Cannot recommend enough.

​Alex was wonderful! He has a lot of experience and knows exactly what to do. I was confident as soon as I met him. He did amazing work with our driveway that our neighbors want to hire him!

The work was done quickly. My family has had this property for over 70 years. They told me how it needed to be done properly that is graded then milling and it is great! Never in all the years was it done properly. The price was right .The family was helping a disabled member of the family. But I have no idea seeing their price why this was not done before. I can't tell you how many people lost mufflers over the 70 years. I'm telling everyone to use these Great people. Thank you again for the quick service! The great service! The great job!

Alex is great, highly recommend! He came out on a Monday and by Wednesday my dry wellwas in place! Friendly, knowledgeable and he listens to your concerns and ideas. Couldn't be happier and I will certainlyuse him again when another project comes up!

We have had him pull stumps for us in the past, and recently he removed a cattle crossing in our driveway and replaced with pavers. His crew was there for the driveway repair, and they were amazing as well! You won't be disappointed when you call Alex!

I live in a condo complex but asked for a professional consultation. Alex came out and assessed situation. He told me what could be done and stated while he could do it he explained how to. He did this as he stated job was simple enough he wouldn't feel comfortable taking our money when we could do ourselves. He explained that he would come back and help if needed. He also said my husband could call him and he would explain the other problem I mentioned. He appeared very knowledgeable, was great at explaining things and honest as he wasn't trying to charge me for work unnecessarily. I would definitely recommend him to others!

I am writing a review of the job done by Alex. Alex was very kind to an older lady who knew nothing about the work that had to be done. He graded, put millings and rolled a 1/2 mile driveway. Then he did the same up to my back door. He then came to my cellar door so I would not have to climb any stairs putting away things.
He was professional in his demeanor and always on time. I will recommend Lee's Light Excavtaing to any one of my friends. The work was excellent and the sight was kept immaculate!

Alex is an incredibly knowledgeable operator and drainage/sewage specialist. I've had the pleasure of working along side of Alex and I have never learned so much in a short amount of time with anyone else. He is honest and reliable. I needed a fast repair on my existing septic system. Everyone I called was either too busy or way too expensive . A friend told me to call Alex at Lee's Light Excavating. After a quick on site estimate, Alex put aside his less pressing job and was there the next day. I would highly recommend this company, fast efficient and reasonable. I had seen the work Alex did on a long lane from a friend's house to his barns and had him stop by to look at a driveway drainage dilemma we had been living with for a few years.

Within minutes of listening to my complaints about standing water and topstone washout with each storm he outlined a solution that included a natural catch-basin feeding drainage pipe terminating in a new storm basin/pond, while reconstructing and widening the natural-surface driveway.

Well, once given the word, he was on a mission like a bird-dog on quail, with the designated landscape changing by the hour while the overall site remained pristine. A truckload of various types of fill and permeable cover seemed to arrive just as the last one disappeared into the horizon with the net result being completed just as the rain began as if on order to test the work!

Three days of work were completed in two and the birds and wildlife are singing his praises from their new aquatic respite as I do for my 'naturalized' country driveway that sheds water like duck-down. And,...did I mention that I couldn't be more pleased with the value?!!...Top quality, on a retiree's budget!...all done by the nicest guy you'd ever want to write a check to!
